Front Desk Chiropractic Assistant Position
- Enterprising – someone who takes initiative, desires to influence others in a positive way and acts confidently in decision-making.
- Hospitable – we need someone who can greet patients by name, offer coffee, tea & snacks to patients, smiles, engages in conversation, personally escorts patients to treatment rooms, loves children and makes everyone feel welcome in our office.
- Multi-tasker – this is someone who can stay focused while gracefully handling interruptions throughout your day. This is someone who makes lists and knows how to prioritize tasks, listens actively but can politely interrupt when needed somewhere else.
- Empathy – our patients usually come to us in pain or discomfort, so our “director of first impressions” needs to naturally show them compassion, listen to their complaints and reassure them. This is also someone who sends cards for illness, sympathy, etc and takes initiative to relay special concerns to the doctor and get back to the patient with a response in a reasonable time frame.
- Attention to detail – This is a critical thinker who knows how to ask the right questions to get the information necessary to get the job done right. This person creates solid systems for efficiency sake.
- Computer skills – basic knowledge or Word and Excel required. Strong internet skills with focus on independent problem-solving.
- Conscientious – someone how owns his mistakes and always strives for excellence. This person sees what needs to be done and does it.
- Communication skills – memorizes scripting to confidently execute conversations with patients that result in more new patients and higher retention of current ones. This person follow up with team on projects and holds themselves accountable.
Must be willing to complete additional training to become a certified chiropractic assistant. Candidate must be willing to work until 7:30 p.m. four days a week and 1-2 Saturdays per month.
Candidate must be in good health without any physical restrictions on exercise. Specifically, candidate must be able to lift up to 20 pounds from the floor, able to squat, get up and down from the floor frequently and maintain good balance while demonstrating exercises for patients.

- Performing all physical therapy modalities for patients including but not limited to:
- Heat/ Ice and electric muscle stimulation
- Ultrasound
- Traction
- Therapeutic Exercises
- Running the floor and becoming liaison between the doctor and the front desk.
- Performing history interviews with new patients.
- Using CT Scribe to document the parts of the SOAP note you perform.
- Updating exercise regimens in CT smartfit.
- Obtaining insurance authorizations for treatment that require doctor’s input.
- Ordering all medical supplies (ultrasound gel, electrodes, balls, bands, etc).
